(SPRING LAKE PARK) – Two brothers died in a house fire in Spring Lake Park last weekend.
According to Spring Lake Park-Blaine-Mounds View fire investigators, the fire started in the garage of a home on 82nd Avenue NE just before 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 16.

Firefighters were able to put out the fire, but then discovered the bodies of two men inside the home, where the fire had spread.
Investigators identified them as 56-year-old Richard Nelson and his brother, Rodney, 53.
State and local authorities continue to investigate the fire.
