ANOKA, Minn. – (July 30, 2015) – A St. Francis man will be spending several years in prison after leading a police chase through several area cities in April.
Randy Thomas Vaught was a burglary suspect when Blaine police attempted to pull him over on Highway 65. Instead of pulling over, he sped up, driving through Blaine, Ham Lake and Andover, before causing several collisions and injuring two people.
Vaught had pleaded guilty to burglary and fleeing a peace officer, and has now been sentenced to four years in prison for his crimes.
