BLAINE, Minn. – (Sept. 1, 2016) – Between September 1 and 11, 56 Target stores across Minnesota are hosting a car seat collection program to help residents reduce household clutter without sending waste to landfills. All car seats collected through this program will be recycled through TerraCycle so that each component will see a second life.
Customers who bring in a car seat to recycle will receive a 20 percent coupon towards the purchase of a new child safety seat. Area Target stores participating in the collection include: Andover, Blaine, Coon Rapids – Riverdale, Coon Rapids – Northtown, Fridley and Lino Lakes. More information can be found here.
