CIRCLE PINES, Minn. – Jan. 15, 2015 – Centennial High school students, Cole Arends and Alexis Glaser have both been nominated for the Minnesota High School League Academics, Arts and Athletic Award.
The “Triple A” Award acknowledges a male and female high school senior with a 3.0 GPA or higher who participates in athletics, fine arts, theater, speech and music. Cole is the captain of the cross country team, a band percussionist and a National Honor society member. Alexis is a volleyball captain, band percussionist as well and a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
The two nominees will compete with other students from 16 different schools in the 5AA region. The top male and female students will be invited to a banquet in March where the state-wide winners will be announced.
