CENTERVILLE, Minn. – (Nov. 16, 2017) – The City of Centerville has a new city administrator. Mark Statz was selected out of a field of 40 applicants.
Statz will replace Mike Ericson who retired in August. Statz currently works for the engineering firm Stantec. As a part of his work at Stantec he served as the city engineer for Centerville.
Statz has spent the last 10 years working with the city and told the council that he feels he is ready to make the transition to administrator.
Statz will begin on Nov. 27 and interim city administrator Dallas Larson will stay on through a early transition period.
