COON RAPIDS, Minn. – (March 7, 2019) – There’s still plenty of snow on the ground but road construction season seems to still be underway.
A section of Hanson Boulevard in Coon Rapids closed this week, and will remain closed until mid-October. Highway crews have been working on improvements at the rail crossing on Hanson near 108th since 2016.
Once the project is complete later this fall, Hanson Boulevard will include an overpass that avoids the railroad tracks entirely. A detour takes drivers to Crooked Lake Boulevard to avoid the construction
