CIRCLE PINES, Minn. – (Oct. 19, 2019) – A small group of students gathered at the Centennial Branch Library for a cooking class. For a few months, the Centennial Branch Library has been hosting all types of cooking classes in their new IQ Kitchen.
This class series is taught by a YMCA dietician, and is called “What’s Cooking with the YMCA.” Other classes have been just for youth or families or focuses on a specific style of cooking.
“It’s a great way to bring the community in,” said Centennial Library branch manager Mary Healy.
Right now, the IQ kitchen hosts a few classes each month, but Healy is looking at ways to expand the options in the room.
