BLAINE, Minn. – (June 17, 2016) – The annual summer food fest took on a different look this year. As the rain poured, the event usually held in Aquatore Park, scrambled for a last minute solution to keep the hundreds of attendees and 25 food vendors dry. “We called up our friends at Sticks and Stones and the Four Seasons Curling Club and they agreed to let us overtake there space, and over take it we have” said MetroNorth Chamber President Lori Higgins.
The event stretched across three different indoor spaces all at Fogerty Arena. The rain didn’t stop the hundred of hungry people from coming out to support two local non-profit organizations. “This event is really two fold. One is to help two local non-profits.
