SPRING LAKE PARK, Minn. – (Oct. 27, 2016) – An early morning drug deal gone bad sent a 19-year-old Circle Pines man to the hospital with a gun shot wound to the chest.
The man was attempting to purchase a small amount of marijuana when the seller allegedly shot him.
Authorities have arrested Johnell Stampley (pictured) in connection with the shooting, he was taken into custody at his home in Spring Lake Park by the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team approximately two hours after the shooting.
The shooting victim is expected to survive his injuries.
