Drunk Driver Blames Election Results

elizabeth-lundbergLINO LAKES, Minn. – (Nov. 17, 2017) – A woman in Lino Lakes used the election as an excuse for drunk driving last week.  Elizabeth Lundberg, 33, crashed into two vehicles stopped at a red light on the intersection of Main Street and Lake Drive and was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving.  Lundberg’s blood alcohol level was .33, which is more than four times the legal limit.

According to Lino Lakes Police Department Facebook page Lundberg said “I am upset over the outcome of the election and you should let me go home.”

She has been charged with criminal vehicular operation and third degree driving while intoxicated.  She has been released from the Anoka County Jail and has a trial date set for January.
