BLAINE, Minn. – (Feb. 5, 2015) – Construction will be coming to Blaine’s Johnsville Elementary School this summer. With enrollment surging and projected to continue to grow the school to receive an 11 classroom addition this summer.
The addition will be built on the north side of the school and will also include remodeling of the current music and art classrooms and the kitchen and cafeteria spaces. The school’s main entrance will also receive a facelift that will include the removal of brick walls and returning to the school’s original design which featured much more glass and natural light near the main entrance.
