(CENTERVILLE) – Fire consumed a home in Centerville on Sunday, leaving it a total loss but injuring no one because nobody was home at the time.
According to Centennial Fire District Chief Harlan Lundstrom, it started and spread quickly because of improperly-extinguished smoking materials at the home on Beaver Pond Way.
Firefighters from Centennial and Lino Lakes responded, along with Centennial Lakes Police officers.
Lundstrom said no one was home, but the fire quickly destroyed the home, which is a total loss.
