BLAINE, Minn. – (April 30, 2015) – Local fire departments have been busy fighting a rash of fires lately.
One house fire in Blaine last week was started at an exterior electric receptacle. No one was injured in the fire, but there was extensive damage to the home.
According to the DNR, fire danger remains high in much of Minnesota including Anoka County. Anoka County is also under burning restrictions. The abnormally dry conditions have caused several grass fires, and the upcoming warmer weather could add to the danger.
