Fogerty Arena is a non-profit and all of the restaurant’s proceeds will go to support youth hockey and curling programs. Sticks and Stones is the only restaurant in the region benefiting community athletics. Even the menu is designed to be athlete approved with everything fresh made form scratch.
“We’re doing a lot more athlete-friendly food,” said Sticks and Stones director of food and beverage Sarah Hill. “More healthy options. Less fried food.”
This is not a only a place for the public to relax and watch curling while supporting young athletes in the community, it is also a place where the athletes participating in events will eat as well. Whether it be hockey families, or curlers, Hill thinks the restaurant will be abel to provide a convenience to their athletes and their supporters.
