BLAINE, Minn. – (Dec. 8, 2016) – The U.S. Department of Education announced this week that federal student aid programs for students at Minnesota School of Business and Globe University will come to an end this month.
Citing fraud along with misrepresenting their programs and the transferability of their credits, the Department says these schools, including the one in Blaine, are ineligible to participate in the student aid programs. There are approximately 700 students enrolled at Minnesota School of Business, and in the 2014-2015 school year, those students received more than $25 million in federal student aid.
The schools were given until December 20 to dispute the government’s findings.
