BLAINE, Minn. (August 8, 2013) — This year, Anoka County Parks and Recreation is celebrating 50 years of providing residents with “open spaces in nearby places.” To recognize this milestone, everyone is invited to attend the summer’s biggest pool party on Thursday, August 15, at Bunker Beach Water Park.
Guests will receive free admission to Bunker Hills Regional Park and Bunker Beach Water Park from 4 to 7 p.m. Free entertainment will include Dazzling Dave: Yo-Yo Master and the band Shakedown. Bunker Beach features 6 towering waterslides, a 900’ lazy river, a leisure pool with climbing wall, a zero-entry pool with a water play structure, a creative sand play area, and Minnesota’s largest outdoor wave pool. Capacity is limited to 3,200 guests at Bunker Beach, so arrive early!
