ANOKA, Minn. – (Feb. 18, 2016) – Do you need help with your taxes but not sure you can afford to go to a tax office? AARP is offering free income tax assistance for taxpayers with low or middle incomes. The assistance will also be given to persons with disabilities and special attention will be given to people over age 60.
The service is offered at 10 sites in Anoka County and is operated on a first come, first served basis. You are asked to please bring Social Security cards, a picture ID, blank or canceled check for direct deposit, your 2014 return, and all 2015 tax information.
