BLAINE, Minn – (Feb. 15, 2018) – Do you need help with your taxes but not sure you can afford to go to a tax office? AARP is offering free income tax assistance for taxpayers with low or middle incomes. The assistance will also be given to persons with disabilities and to people over age 60.
The service is offered at 10 sites in Anoka County. Many are operated on a first come, first served basis, while a few take appointments. You are asked to bring Social Security cards, a picture ID, blank or canceled check for direct deposit, your 2016 return, and all 2017 tax information.
