(ANOKA) – If you need help with your taxes, but can’t afford to go to a tax office, there is help. AARP is offering free income tax assistance for taxpayers with lower incomes.
The assistance is also available to people with disabilities and to anyone over age 60. You can find the preparation help at ten sites in Anoka County on a first come, first served basis.
You need to bring social security cards, a picture identification card, a blank or canceled check for direct deposit, and your 2017 return, along with all 2018 tax information.
