BLAINE, Minn. – Last weekend a home in Blaine was the site of a substantial fire. When the Spring Lake Park – Blaine – Mounds View Fire Department arrived at the home in the 1100 block of 128th Avenue they found an attached garage fully engulfed in flames.
The crews worked diligently to get the fire under control quickly while protecting the rest of the home. The damage to the garage was extensive, but the firefighters were able to stop the flames from spreading to the rest of the house.
