BLAINE, Minn. – (Feb. 1, 2018) – Years after it went out of business, a Blaine landmark finally succumbed to demolition this week.
Gasoline Alley thrilled children and adults alike for decades. It has now been closed for years, but the building remained on the side of Highway 65. This week the owner of the building, who also owns the adjacent mobile home park, started demolition work on the site. Future plans for the site remain unclear, but future commercial development remains a strong possibility.
