HAM LAKE, Minn. – This weekend you will have the opportunity to help Anoka-Hennepin students help other students in the district. Girl Scout Troop #13310 of Ham Lake was searching for their Bronze Award project when they were approached by a school district employee who mentioned the needs of the district-run food shelf.
The troop is going to be helping the food shelf prepare for the summer when the need is even greater because school lunches are not provided.
You can help the scouts and students in need by dropping off non-perishable food items or monetary donations at either McKinley Elementary School in Ham Lake or Roosevelt Middle School in Blaine on Saturday, April 20th from 9:00am – 12:00pm.
