ANOKA, Minn. (Oct. 24, 2013) – Last week it was revealed the Grace Baltich, a candidate running for the Anoka-Hennepin School Board, was involved in plagiarism. This week Baltich has lost one of her main supporters.
The Anoka-Hennepin Teacher’s Union has pulled its endorsement of Baltich, who is running against Bill Harvey in District 3. The plagiarism incident stems from several posts on Baltich’s campaign Facebook page, which were apparently directly lifted from other education related websites and postings.
Baltich has since apologized for the posts after claiming that they were done by her volunteer campaign staff. In addition the Facebook page in questions has been deleted.
