BLAINE, Minn. – (Feb. 16, 2017) – The Blaine City Council has approved the plans for Harley Davidson to build and relocate to a new shop two miles north of its current Blaine location. The new 63,664-square-foot facility will be nearly three times the size of the current location and will have a showroom that can hold up to 150 bikes. The new store will be located on currently vacant land on Highway 65 near 99th Ave.
To reduce noise in the residential neighborhoods adjacent to the new facility, the ownership will not touch the wetlands and trees on the west side of the property and no authorized test rides will be carried out in neighborhoods but rather on Highways 10 and 65 and on County Road J. The store is set to open in early 2018.
