BLAINE, Minn. – (Oct. 1, 2015) – Allina Health is pairing with the organization Free Bikes for Kidz again this year to help them collect gently used bicycles for children in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Allina wants to help make it possible for every child to have a bike and participate in a healthy and fun activity. To be a part of this mission, visit one of 44 different Allina Health locations on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. to contribute gently used or new bicycles.
If you would like to volunteer, they are also looking for people willing to clean the bikes for distribution to children in need starting in early December. Last year, Allina Health and Free Bikes for Kidz were able to distribute more than 5,000 bikes to children because of generous donations. This year, you can help those numbers grow, and donate a bike or volunteer your time to make a difference in a child’s life. For a list of drop sites click here.
