FRIDLEY, Minn. – (May 14, 2015) – If you’re traveling on Hwy 65 in Fridley this weekend, you will come across lane and ramp closures as crews resurface the road.
Starting after the evening rush hours on Friday, May 15, both directions of Hwy 65 between 53th Avenue and Mississippi Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
You’ll also encounter 10-15 minute ramp closures on the I-694 interchange to and from Hwy 65 as workers pave the roadway in front of the ramps.
Crews will keep the ramps and loops at the interchange open as long as possible; you’ll still be able to access local businesses and residences throughout the project.
Work is expected to be complete by 5 a.m. Monday, May 18, weather permitting.
