HAM LAKE, Minn. – (Feb. 9, 2017) – A scary scene in Ham Lake last week as four men allegedly burst into a home at 2:00 a.m. According to a report filed with the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office the men broke into the Ham Lake home, were armed with a rifle, and demanded money from the two individuals living in the home. The suspects searched the home and left with some electronics. As the suspects fled the home occupants were able to get the license plate number of the fleeing vehicle and called police.
Police were able to locate the vehicle at its registered address in Blaine. Police took Eric Gauthreaux-Travis into custody as well as a 17-year-old alleged accomplice. Two other suspects remain at large. Gauthreaux-Travis has been charged with four felony charges and is being held in the Anoka County Jail on a $500,000. During the investigation, electronics reported as missing were found in Gauthreaux-Travis’s vehicle.
