ANOKA, Minn. – (May 11, 2017) – Thousands of youth in Minnesota experience homelessness on any given day. Hope 4 Youth in Anoka is working to change that, by providing a safe place to come and get support, while also getting direction towards a better future.
Hope 4 Youth recently shared the about the work they are doing, and how the community can support them, as they work to find homes and the security that provides to homeless young adults.
“What if, for no reason, not your fault, that security went away?” asked HOPE 4 Youth board member Jerry Streich.
Hope 4 Youth has a drop in center, that provided basic needs to 732 different homeless youth in 2016. In addition to the drop-in center, they also operate a transitional housing facility, and an on-site clinic.
Hope 4 Youth has been open for four years, and their transitional housing facility opened in December.
