BLAINE, Minn. – (Aug. 23, 2018) – The plans to bring a Hy-Vee to Blaine are moving forward. Hy-Vee has submitted plans to the city to build a store on Main Street next to Roosevelt Middle School.
Site plans could also include senior apartments, a gas station and an adjacent strip mall. Hy-Vee is currently working with Blaine city staff on its development application. The plans are expected to be reviewed by the planning commission and city council this fall.
This would be the second Hy-Vee store in the area as work has started on a store in Spring Lake Park at the corner of Highway 65 and 81st Avenue.
