BLAINE, Minn. – (April 7, 2016) – This week, Blaine held their first of two bike helmet fitting clinics of the spring. Each year they sell helmets to kids and adults for $10 each and fit each helmet to each head. Hundreds of people come to each event, and officers from Blaine’s Safety Services spend hours getting people helmets that fit them well.
They hope that getting more helmets on Blaine’s streets will help prevent serious injuries in case of an accident. The next bike helmet fitting will be on May 3rd at Blaine City Hall. For more information on this event click here.
