(BLAINE) – With more than 20 inches of snow on the ground in some places around the Twin Cities, firefighters want help keeping everyone safe.
One way to do that is by keeping fire hydrants clear of snow. Firefighters ask that you clear snow from the sides of the hydrant three feet on either side, and that you clear a path from the street to the hydrant.
This gives firefighters enough room to safely work with the hydrants.
