COLUMBIA HEIGHTS, Minn. – If you are interested in keeping parks in the county clean and beautiful, the Anoka County Parks and Recreation Department could use your help.
On May 2 at 6pm at Kordiak Park, county staff will gather with neighbors and volunteers to make some landscape improvements to the park. This neighborhood gathering is a work project in preparation for the countywide celebration of the 50th Anniversary of this park – which was the first county park in Minnesota.
This project will include planting flowers and perennials, spreading wood chips, and other park clean-up activities. If you do attend, dress appropriately for the work and bring your gloves and gardening tools.
