BLAINE – Lakeside Commons Beach in Blaine officially opens on June 12, as state restrictions moved to phase three of Minnesota’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which allows some outdoor activities to open.
For now, only the beach will be open. The splash pad, boathouse, restroom building, volleyball court, and changing facilities will remain closed, but portable bathrooms will be available.
The beach will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a beach attendant on hand enforcing rules and social distancing.
