ANOKA, Minn. – (Aug. 4, 2016) – For those who are interested in learning about your local Sheriff’s Office or even just law enforcement in general, you can sign up for the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Academy. Students will attend a class on Wednesday evenings from September 14 to October 19 at the Sheriff’s Office in Andover and one evening at the Anoka County Jail.
This is a unique opportunity to get an inside look at the workings of law enforcement operations and the Sheriff’s Office. Spots are limited to 20 participants. To be eligible, you must an Anoka County resident, age 18 or older. All participants must agree to be screened for driving record and criminal history. For more information click here.
