LEXINGTON, Minn. – (July 16, 2015) – The Lexington Athletic Complex is one of the most extensive park projects Blaine has undertaken and will finally be opening this August. After several years of planning, the 38-acre park has been under construction for the last year. The $5.25 million project includes new sports fields for lacrosse, soccer, football, and baseball; along with tennis courts, pickleball courts and a themed playground. Before winter, a new hockey rink will also be ready for use. You can join the community in celebrating this new park with a ribbon cutting on August 18 at 6:30 pm.
