(BLAINE) – State numbers show north metro communities that have city-controlled liquor sales continue to make money despite the size of those cities.
According to figures for 2017 from the state auditor, the city of Lexington had the second-best sales among cities in Anoka County behind the city of Anoka.
Of the cities that made more profit than Lexington, only one, Stacy, is home to fewer people.
