(LINO LAKES – August 26, 2021) -The City of Lino Lakes is again turning to sports consulting firm, Isaac Sports Group, for guidance as city leaders consider re-opening the former YMCA building.
The city council approved a contract with the consultant to lend expertise on writing lease agreements and revenue sharing with community partners who would run programs in the city-owned facility.
Isaac Sports Group is familiar with the situation since it is the same company the city hired to do a feasibility study of the project earlier this year.
The latest effort includes developing aquatic programming with the Centennial School District, and developing fitness partnerships. Once a decision is made to re-open, ISG would help hire a director and other staff. It would continue working with the city for 3 months after the facility re-opens.
The ISG contract totals $16,000.
