LINO LAKES, Minn. – The Lino Lakes Police Department is mourning the loss of one of its own. Veteran police Sergeant Chris Bragelman, 37, passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of Sunday, May 19.
Sergeant Bragelman was at the Blue Heron Bar and Grill in Hugo with a friend. Around 2:00am he was found unresponsive on the restaurant’s deck. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call around. Upon their arrival at the scene, Sergeant Bragelman was unable to be revived through CPR efforts.
Lino Lakes Police Department Chief John Swenson released a statement saying Bragelman was “a crucial part of the Lino Lakes Police Department and he will be missed by all. Please keep Chris’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.”
At this time, investigations into what caused his death are ongoing.
Bragelman had a wife and three children.
