LINO LAKES, Minn. – (May 9, 2018) – Minnesota typically sees about 25,000 drunk driving arrests in a year, and about 100 deaths due to impaired driving.
The Lino Lakes Public Safety Department is trying to reduce drunk driving incidents in the city. The department has teamed up with an organization called Drink and Drive Intelligently to provide people with a safe ride home.
The safe ride home program offers a $20 discount to get you and your vehicle home safely from any on-sale liquor establishment in Lino Lakes. All bars and restaurants in the city have the discount coupons on hand and can help you schedule your ride.
