BLAINE – A Blaine yoga studio joined other small business leaders and some Anoka County state legislators in suing Governor Tim Walz over his executive orders that they argue have hurt business owners.
Yoga by Blisstopia of Blaine is listed as one of the plaintiffs among several across the metro and beyond.
The lawsuit, filed May 28, alleges Walz has gone around and without the support of the legislature and that his executive actions during peacetime do not include health emergencies.
Among the state lawmakers who are suing include Representative Cal Bahr of East Bethel.
Gov. Walz received the lawsuit last week and, according to the plaintiffs, has to respond by June 18.
