ANOKA, Minn. – (Oct. 18, 2018) – As of this week, 7,800 voters in Anoka County have already submitted an absentee ballot. 3,947 have voted in person. More than 15,000 voters have requested to have ballots mailed to them, and only 24 percent or 3,800 of those have been returned so far.
In 2016, Minnesota had the highest voter turnout in the nation, with 74.8 percent. And Anoka County saw more than 185,000 votes cast.
There is still time to vote early. You can vote at your city hall or at the Anoka County Elections Office up until the day before Election Day.
