A Chance to Meet Your Legislator

COON RAPIDS, Minn. – (Jan. 19, 2017) – The League of Women Voters and the Student Senate at Anoka-Ramsey Community College are teaming up to host a meet your legislator night.

With the recent election, the person would represents you in Saint Paul may have changed, and this event will give you a chance to talk to your legislator directly. They will talk about some of the biggest issues facing our government right now, including education, health care, the environment, taxes, voting rights and more, and they will also go over tips for communicating with your legislator.

Every legislator that serves residents of Anoka County has been invited to attend.
