(BLAINE) – The Minnesota State High School League voted to reverse its earlier decision to move football and volleyball to a modified spring season because of COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions, and voted Monday to allow the sports to proceed this fall.
Volleyball will begin October 8 and football the next day. Football practice can begin immediately, while volleyball practice can begin on Monday, Sept. 28.
The league called for the special meeting after its members expressed interest in renewing the fall schedules over the past several days.
