The agency is hosting a slate of in-person and virtual public feedback sessions through the end of July with the goal of hearing from as many people as possible about possible safety enhancements on the heavily-traveled routes.
“We understand these two roadways are important,” said MNDOT North Area Engineer Chris Brower. “Not just for the people driving and people commuting but also the people living in the community and the people walking and biking and using these two roadways every single day.”
This process began about a year ago as MNDOT gathered input about various needs and concerns. Brower said these current meetings are meant to gather specific input about specific options, displayed on maps and posters for those who attended the first in-person meeting at Fridley City Hall on July 12.
