MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – (April 2, 2015) – On March 28 the annual Hops for Hunger fundraiser was held at the Solar Arts Building in Northeast Minneapolis. The event supports Southern Anoka Community Assistance, a food shelf and clothing center that serves Spring Lake Park, Columbia Heights. Fridley and Hilltop.
Hops for Hunger featured 16 different craft breweries sampling some of their beers, a silent auction, food, and live music. With over 300 people attending, it was the largest Hops for Hunger event ever. They raised nearly $20,000 and more is still coming in.
