BLAINE, Minn. – (Sept. 1, 2016) – If a disaster struck us tomorrow, do you know how you would find your family? Where would you meet? Who would pick up the kids?
September is National Preparedness Month, a time when all Americans are encouraged to make sure they are prepared for disasters or emergencies in their homes, businesses, and communities.
You are reminded to: build and emergency kit and make a communications plan; and to get involved in the planning for you business, organization or place or worship as well.
The READY Campaign has many helpful ideas and lists for families to talk about as they make their plans. You can learn more and get your plan ready here.
