SPRING LAKE PARK, Minn. – That familiar feeling of hunger strikes—at home, in the office—and you want food delivered. Fast. Enter Spring Lake Park man Mike Frank, who had encountered a similar problem. Frank craved food delivery options that went beyond the usual pizza.
Now, thanks to Frank, people in Columbia Heights, New Brighton, Spring Lake Park. Fridley, Blaine, and parts of Coon Rapids have reason to rejoice. Mike took that idea and built it into an innovative business: Fast Food Delivery Guy.
Frank started his business after the housing market took a turn for the worse. He still owns and operates Affordable Stucco and Siding Company, but realized he needed more income than he was making. In October 2012, Mike, along with his wife, began passing out flyers and taking orders.
The concept behind Fast Food Delivery Guy is simple. Customers call Frank’s number and state state their location, whether or not they’ve used the service before, and what they’d like to order. Just a few of the places Fast Food Delivery Guy delivers from include McDonalds, Olive Garden, Burger King, Subway, and Asia Chow Mein. Average delivery time is between 30-40 minutes. Fast Food Delivery Guy currently operates on a cash-only basis, although Frank says they’re hoping to accept credit cards in the near future. However, coupons are accepted.
In addition to people looking for alternative food delivery options, Frank hopes his service will help people who may not have easy access to food at all times. Fast Food Delivery Guy is available for orders from 10am – 8:30pm Monday through Saturday, and is also open every-other Sunday.
