BLAINE, Minn. – (Aug. 23, 2018) – With the Minnesota State Fair underway, Metro Transit has made some changes to the express bus services that are usually offered. Weekday services for suburban park-and-ride lots won’t begin until 9 a.m, which is an hour later than in previous years.
Service from the Parade Stadium lot in Minneapolis won’t begin until noon. There aren’t enough drivers to fill the extra state fair runs which is the reason for the changes.
Express fares are five dollars and the routes run every 15 minutes. In the north metro area, you can catch the bus at the I-35W and 95th Avenue park and ride in Blaine.
The fair is open daily until Labor Day.
