BLAINE, Minn. – (May 28, 2015) – The Anoka County Board recently signed a contract to spend $5.49 million for the maintenance of county highways. County transportation workers stated the updates will consist of a simple overlay to existing road surfaces.
There are a total of 12 highways receiving this update. Here are a few in the area that might affect your daily commute: Osborne Road from East River Road to University Avenue, and also from Highway 65 to Old Central Avenue in Fridley and Spring Lake Park. In Lino Lakes: Main Street starting from Lake Drive to I-35W, and Lake Drive starting at Hodgson Drive Northeast. County officials say the work is to be completed by the end of the current construction season.
