LEXINGTON, Minn. – The Lexington City Council has appointed former council member Russ Baker to fill a vacancy. The council had a vacancy after the resignation of Mark Johnson earlier this year. Johnson moved out of state to pursue a new employment opportunity.
Baker is a 42 year Lexington resident and served on the planning and zoning commission before serving on the council. Baker was sworn in last week and will serve out the remainder of Johnson’s term.
